Education and Communication

An informed consumer seeking care from a health care professional practicing evidence-based care sets the stage for an optimal health care experience. That's why continual education and support are fundamental to ACN Group's Clinical Support Program.

Along with patient education initiatives, ACN Group provides a wide variety of educational opportunities for health care professionals.

Initial Provider Education – Initial seminars to introduce new network health care professionals to ACN Group.
Seminars – Traditional continuing education seminars are a key vehicle for sharing timely information with our network.
Provider and Patient Web Sites – Online resources provide general information and additional resources.
Distance Learning – Classes by mail that count as educational (continuing education) credit in several states.
Journal Club – An online resource containing in-depth reports, patient education handouts, exercise handouts, links to research journals, and an archive of past newsletters.
Docusend Utility – Allows a quick and convenient way to transmit information from our electronic library to health care professionals via fax, e-mail, or mail.
Clinical Profiles – Information sharing gives health care professionals the opportunity to see how their clinic operates administratively and the outcomes they achieve for patients.
Peer-to-Peer – Ongoing interface between health care professionals and ACN Group support clinicians who provide a one-on-one, peer-to-peer level of communication and education.
